In Slovakia, a one-day e-vignette was introduced starting from August 1, 2023.
This e-vignette is valid on the day of purchase, as opposed to the 24-hour validity used in Hungary and other countries.
In Slovakia, alongside the one-day e-vignette, the annual vignette which was valid until the end of the calendar year will be discontinued. Instead, the 365-day e-vignette remains available.
The 10-day e-vignette also remains.
A similar one-day e-vignette system is available in other countries, such as the Czech Republic and Austria, and has been available in Hungary since early April.
