Road closure and diversion on the M1 motorway: Difficulties are expected for motorists

According to the announcement of the MKIF Magyar Koncessziós Infrastructura Fejlsztó Zrt., the partial closure of the highway and junction branches is necessary due to asphalting works, replacement of waterproofing and the completion of other tasks. During the closures, the following traffic changes should be expected: 1. **Those traveling towards M0/Biatorbágy:** - You cannot drive onto the M0 from the main road 1 either from Biatorbágy or from Budapest. - The side of the M1 motorway towards Hegyeshalom will only be accessible via the Sasfészek-tó rest area. - Those arriving from Budapest on highway 1 must continue to the Sasfészek-tó rest stop, then drive onto the M1. 2. **For those traveling towards Budapest:** - From highway 1 at Biatorbágy, you can take the M1 and M0. - You can also drive onto the side of the M1 highway towards Budapest via the Biatorbágy interchange. 3. **M1 Coming from Győr:** - They cannot turn onto highway number 1 at the M0 junction. - They have the opportunity to drive off at the Sasfészek-tó rest stop or at Törökbálint.
